View south from High Level Bridge, Michaelson Road, down the quayside towards the hammer head crane. Snow and lifeboats on quayside. SS Caronia under the crane during a re-fit. Scotch derrick crane has jib over forward hold. Two funnel steamer and a smaller one on the east quay. Two funnel liner built for Cunard by John Brown & Co, Clyde Bank in 1905. Generally used on Liverpool - New York. Signalled Titanic about icebergs and growlers.
