Launch of TSS Otranto

View from starboard launchway of stern of ship several days before launch. Launchways not greased. Workers are seen on the deck, by rudder bearings, by the propellor, between launchways and on the left. Launched on 9 Jun1925 for Orient Steam Navigation Co Ltd. She served as a troopship from 1939 to 1948 before resuming her trade to Australia. Scrapped at Faslane 14 June 1957.
