Duchess of York (Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother) about to reveal a plaque behind a Union Jack on the occasion of the renaming of Walney Bridge to Jubilee Bridge to mark the Silver Jubilee of King George V. The bridge was also handed over to the town from the railway company. Mayor Bram Longstaffe has his back to camera.
