Looking north along pool towards open Air Swimming Pool and Black Combe in far distance across Duddon Estuary. Boys sailing yachts in the pool. 1933 25 inch map calls it Model Yacht and Paddling Pool and labels the causeway across as a footbridge. Double Decker Bus up on the road by the shelter.
