Part of the south side of the park with tennis courts well-patronised, some people putting and bowling taking place while a woman in a dark suit pushes a pram in the direction of the lake, visible with its boathouse beyond the shelter and clubhouse. Part of Risedale secondary school and its caretaker’s house may be seen to the right, beyond which are some of the Abbotsmead houses.
