The Park Barrow

1950s

Framed by trees overhanging the path from both side, this view down the slope of a path which leads to the bandstand also displays tennis and crown green bowling taking place with a pavilion to serve the needs of the sportspeople. Roofs of the bandstand and clubhouse may be seen against the trees, beyond which there are the roofs of Newbarns and the typical Low Furness drumlin topography.
