Bermuda Crescent
Late 1950s
Two designs of neat, semi-detached houses line Bermuda Crescent, neat hedges surmounting low garden walls; most have H or X aerials on their roof for 405 lines VHF BBC tv reception while few have the ITV aerials introduced with Granada in 1956. Saplings have been planted on verges which need a trim. A pair of lamp standards will provide minimal night-time illumination.
