Golf House and Central Drive

Late 1950s

Furness Golf Club Golf House stands across Moor Tarn Lane from the first tee. To the left may be seen the rear of some Southport Drive homes. Central Drive curves to the right, its semi-detached houses have low walls marking their front gardens. Many have double-height bays with distinctive curved windows, as does a single bungalow behind the Golf House. Central Drive has concrete lamp standards and substantial telephone posts.
