Beach Scene, Blackpool
1900s to 1914s
Looking north towards a busy North Pier on the beach near the tower at Blackpool on a busy holiday afternoon. Large numbers of families sit on the sand while many people stand at the railings along the Promenade where four trams pass by. A pair of bathing machines await at the edge of the water while prams stand at the back of the beach.
