Looking down upon a scene of many people walking along the promenade and on the beach. In the far distance is the pier. There are many passengers in an open-topped tram alongside the promenade. Below the rooftops of the buildings on the left is the main road. There is a woman passenger in a horse drawn carriage which is going in the direction of the pier.
