A busy street crossroads with telephone wires, six horse drawn carriages and several well dressed people with children. The houses are three storied, possibly holiday accommodation and some of the front gardens are busy with comings and goings. At the far end of the street is the promenade and seafront with a couple of shelters visible. There is a shop on the left of the picture with advertising hoardings there and on the building in a cut through behind.
