Promenade From The Palace Theatre
c.1900
The wide promenade becomes increasingly crowded looking towards the pier in the background. Many horse drawn carriages and a couple of motor cars drive along the road, as well dressed people in holiday mode walk in the street and on the promenade. A man is high up a ladder changing a street light in the central reservation . There is an expanse of wet beach crowded with people, horses and carts and bathing huts on wheels.
