Electric Light Fitting Entrance to Market Institute
Early 20th century
Open entrance to the Cooke and Sons Furniture Shop, and Market Institute on Abbey Road. Stairway, down hall, bicycle parked in hall, sign for tobacco and billiards above. Outside above entrance is a large light fitting, to either side are shop windows displaying pots (bottom left) and bicycles (right). Second light fitting hanging in front of left window. Photographer with camera also a horse drawn cart reflected in the left hand window
