Tram on Bridge Road
22 July 1911
Looking north-west along Bridge Road. Test tram number 6 is approaching on the new line, advert on front for Worthington beer. Road is dirty. On left road is bounded by tall brick wall and pavement, behind the fence is the railway line and the original tram line is behind the brick wall. Horse drawn cart on right. Railway signals at end of road, Black Combe in distance. The tram line was moved from Ferry Road to Bridge Road and the inaugural run was 22nd July 1911.
