Tram on Bridge Road
22 July 1911
Looking North West along Bridge Road. Open top tram Number 6 heading North West, advert on front for Worthington beer. Road is dirty. Lamp posts on left, right is the tram line, a railway line and a row of terrace houses separated from railway and road by a second brick wall. Horse drawn cart on right. Railway signals at end of road, Black Combe in distance. The tram line was moved from Ferry Road to Bridge Road and the inaugural run was 22nd July 1911.
