Picture taken looking over a wooden fence to the area under the 150 ton crane at Buccleuch Dock. Large group of people gathered under crane where a gangway from HMS Vanguard (under construction) to the dockside has recently collapsed causing 19 workmen to fall. A large group of onlookers (or workers going to and from Vickers) can be seen on the High Level Bridge, Michaelson Road, to the left, Town Hall clock to right. Two railway wagons on dockside.
