Walney Channel looking north from Jubilee Bridge. at high tide, the sea is calm. Barrow to Walney ferry on the right with the buildings and chimneys of the iron works and various other industries behind. Several boats on the water including a gaff rig yacht in full sail and two rowing boats. Black Combe (mountain) in distance. Funnels of a ship visible over the buildings to right.
