Curved wooden structure with lower level reached by ladder. Octagonal wooden Watch House "for harbour staff and Pilots only”. 7 men,all with hats, waiting at the rail with what appears to be a large megaphone. Two smoking despite No Smoking notice nearby. Crowd of people beyond on beach and promenade with Lifeboat Station and ramp. Lower (Beach) Lighthouse behind them.
