Ramsden Dock Deep Water Berth
1910s
Looking along the railway lines towards the stocks and ship-building cranes. Man standing by signal post with lower quadrant signal. Large timber pilings making jetties with many small sailing boats moored or pulled up on the shore. Rear of James Watt Terrace and Egerton buildings on right. The second Walney St Mary’s opened in 1908 visible across the channel – the same as the bridge which in distance. See 1111
