Crowd Scene at Fleetwood Pier
1910s
Appears to be taken from a boat already moored at the pier. Very large crowd filling the entrance and nearby streets being held back by fencing with policeman and ferry official on duty. Finger sign on building pointing to the combined railway station of Lancashire and Yorkshire, and London and North Western Railway, with presumably a timetable, underneath.
