Lakeside Landing and Steam Yacht "Teal”
1910s
Looking north up Windermere with the stern of the Teal tied up under the awning at Lakeside where the Furness Railway trains arrived from Ulverston. Name and decoration visible. Officer with beard standing on the quayside which has patches of snow and ice. Three men smoking pipes wreathed in smoke from funnel. Mooring rope for second boat is visible and there is a swan in the lake. Looks like a price list hanging by the wall.
