Bardsea Church

1910s

A portrait view. The elegant square tower and spire of Holy Trinity Church seen from the path leading up to the front entrance. Cracked corner of the negative gives and interesting illuminating effect. Holy Designed by George Webster of Kendal, 1843 and completed in 1853. The long delay was due to the first financier, the owner of nearby Conishead priory pulling out, until purchased by the curate and the church finally completed.
