Cottage Homes Milnthorpe
1910s
Substantial limestone house having a two storey central section with single storey wings to either side. Six tall chimney stacks and two fancy finials dominate the roofs. Elaborate emblem of tree with two shields in the central gable. This was known as William Bindloss' Cottage Homes or Almshouse and is on Bindloss Way on the right leaving the town towards Crooklands. It was still an almshouse in 2018.
