Beetham Church Rose Walk
1910s
View from the corner of Church Street opposite the Wheatsheaf. The church is St Michael's and All Angels with a square tower with elaborate windvane. The trellised walkway leading towards was originally erected to commemorate the wedding of the Duke of York (later George V) and Princess Mary of Teck in 1892. Pinch stile next to the gateway. Portrait orientation.
