Mill Dam. Bootle
1910s
Reflection of trees in still pool. The mill race starts at a weir to the north of the village and runs behind church to the south of the village where a corn mill stood on Mill Street. It then rejoins Kinmont Beck/River Annas. Strange, low building near weir – not clear what it might be. Whitfell and the ridge of Corney Fell in the background.
