Duddon Road, Askam
1910s
One of the nicer parts of Askam, and one of a number taken of local children. The cameraman's request that they stand strung out across a road is an indicator of the times they lived in, when cars did not menace pedestrians. Most of the children are wearing hats, with the boys dressed in similar outfits. Was this a class from a local school?
