Ireleth Church
1910s
View from the fields above down to St Peter’s Church and part of the graveyard. The church has a very distinctive spire. Beyond is the Duddon Estuary at low tide. On the far side, you can make out Hodbarrow mines and the chimneys of Millom Ironworks. The slag bank dominates the town. Black Combe rises above everything else.
