A Section of Allithwaite
Early 20th century
View up the The Square towards the village. The spire of St Mary’s Church is just visible above the trees. Allithwaite Farm on the left appears to have wooden guttering fitted on extension of joists. It has tall iron railings and gate. Youth adjusting the bridle on a horse with cart. Old lady in black dress and young lady with hat standing next to a dog with a leather bag round its neck.
