The Greasy Pole Fleetwood Regatta
12 Jun 1909
Low barge moored in shallows held in place by two of the port steam tugs with funnels visible behind. Pole over the side with two men in the water and another in a swimming costume about to start. Officials at the bow and crew, more spectators and swimmers towards the stern. Pilot boat Falcon and large white yacht with bunting and other racing yachts.
