Newby bridge, from Swan hotel, snow scene
Early 20th Century
Looking west down on to the bridge from the hotel all framed by the branches of a bare tree. There is snow on the ground and a man with a horse and cart on the bridge. A couple of buidings to the right on the opposite side of the bridge. The river Leven flows under the arches.
