Early 20th Century
Looking South East across a field towards Allithwaite village. To the left two large semi-detached houses stand at the top of a hill. They are located on Church Road at the junction with Greendales lane. Various other buildings lower down the hill. A road leads from the far side of the village in the direction of Kirkhead Tower (Folly) which can be seen on Kirkhead Hill in the distance.
