Looking north along a wooden promenade at sea front. Lady holding child sitting on the edge of a slipway. At the end of a jetty to her right are six ladies wearing bathing outfits one of them is diving into the sea. Other people mostly ladies walking on the promenade, ahead of them is a wooden building with sign stating “Ladies Bathing Place” Various other buildings and headland in distance.
