A General View Of Thirlmere
Early 20th Century
Looking South along the length of Thirlmere reservoir towards distant mountains with a prominent valley between them, this is the Pass of Dunmail Raise. Tree covered slope in foreground with single large tree to right, beyond this a rocky promontory juts out into the water at Beech Grove.
