Abbey Road Park

1908-1924

Barrow Park looking Southeast towards bandstand and park still under construction. Man at extreme left walking down steps. First part of lake, before it was extended, in the background. The park was designed by Thomas Mawson in 1908 and took about 20 years to complete. The lake was extended in 1924 when two bridges were built.
