Furness Abbey from the Belfry
Early 20th Century
Looking down from the top of the remains of the Belfry Tower into the Cloisters and the eastern range of buildings. Visitors, mostly women and children, are dotted about. The Yarlside iron or mines are prominent in the distance, with buildings, waste heaps and a train of wagons.
