Cottage in High Newton Village just south of the old main road through the village, at approx. SD402828, almost opposite Glendene (2021 names). The date shield reads 1883. The house is virtually unchanged today (2021) even down to the guttering coming across the upper window nearest to avoid having a down-pipe. A woman and a dog look towards the camera from outside the front door of the house.
