Post Office, Calder Bridge
Early 20th Century
Looking Southeast along Calder Bridge main road (now A595). Post Office on the right with a hand cart standing on cobbled pavement outside. Boy stood in road looking at photographer. The bridge is behind the boy, tree covered river bank on left. Beyond bridge on left is the Stanley Arms Hotel with a horse and carriage waiting outside. Timber yard and buildings of Isaac Hall, Cartwright, Undertaker in distance.
