Looking west along Main Street from the junction with the Cark road which goes off to the right. Various buildings on both sides of the road. Building on corner is “Hills Restaurant. Bakers & Confectioner” serving “Tees” and “Refreshments at Any Hour”. Three carts parked on end on the cobbled pavement to left and another on the right. Three people in the road; one appears to be on the shoulders of another.
