Grasmere Church
Early 20th Century
Viewed from the west the simple style of the 14th century St Oswald's Church, the burial place of William Wordsworth, is evident. The foreground yew trees are now ( as at 2021) considerably larger. A dog crosses the deserted unmetalled road.
