Possibly looking east along the B5287 in Grasmere with the Rothay Hotel and its ornate bargeboards over the gables in the distance. A cottage shrouded in ivy with striped awning out in front of it. A bicycle leans on the railings. If the location is correct the cottage is no longer there and the road has been straightened and widened.
