Eskdale Green Post Office & Village Store

1910s

View east along Smithybrow Lane with the fells above Miterdale in the distance. To the right is the village Post Office with a sign for John Porter, Boot Maker. Another sign is unreadable. A boy with a huge grin is leaning on the wall to the left. Three girls are standing and a dog is lying in the road. Further on, an old man with a stick is by a wooden wheelbarrow. The building to the left is now the Village Stores (in 2021).
