King George IV Inn

View from the road to Boot back to the junction with the road to Eskdale Green. Public House with wooden porch and two storey barn attached. The sign still says King of Prussia. Man with horse and small wagon heading towards Boot. Large black dog in the road and a smaller one nearer to the horse. The inn changed of name, abandoning the King of Prussia in favour of King George IV, in 1914 at the start of World War I. Eskdale Green Station was originally known as the King of Prussia for the nearby inn.
