View down across the back gardens to Kirkby in Furness station at Sandside with the shelter and signal box on the platform. In the centre is the opening to the goods shed. Beyond the line curves away to Foxfield and top right the branch goes straight on to the slate depot at the bottom of the incline from the quarries. The post office is on the lane down from the main road.
