View from the salt marsh at the edge of Kirkby Pool in front of Kirkby in Furness station at Sandside. Two groups of children, many barefoot. Behind them the gate leading on to the station. Station buildings on the far side have a passenger waiting under the clock. Behind is the prominent row of terraced houses alongside the lane leading up to the main road. See 5945
