Looking north along unmade Garfield Road, later the promenade. Terrace of houses, see 6063, field filled with tents. Stalls on the beach for Ices and Chairs for Hire with Hoods. People on the beach but no one paddling with rough waves which is why families strolling are holding their hats. Wheelbarrow upturned by path. Rossall School clock tower in far distance. In the far distance the Pyramid at Rossall Point.
