The Town Viewed From North Pier
1920s
View along the pier towards the north end of town. Deacon’s Mill and St James’ Church Tower are prominent. To the right of the mill, cranes and the coal loading "hurries” are on the edge of Queen’s Dock. To the left of the mill is Bransty Station. People are walking and sitting along the pier. The edge of the negative is damaged by light intrusion.
