View up Church Road from Victoria Square to a large house on the main road. Left is the end of the viaduct and a signal post. Then the Station Hotel and Carlisle and County Savings Bank. Wesleyan Methodist Church has a distinctive open spire and there is a chimney to the right for the brewery. Children and a chicken in the road as well as a man and two women.
