The Quay
1920s
View from by the lighthouse over the harbour and the town beyond. Two wooden footbridges link to the outer wall with rowing boats moored in a bay behind. Mobile crane on dockside. Terraces of houses around Quay Street look in poor condition compared to Rose Hill on the right and Lime Street on the left. Adverts unreadable on railway wall. People in yards behind Henry Street and on quayside.
