View north along the Promenade to the Central Pier and the Tower and casino in the distance. Royal Hotel, West View Hotel and Queen’s Hotel are either side of the bandstand. The Star Restaurant has a painted sign covering the whole gable wall. Lots of people walking and sitting on the promenade and more down on the beach. Horse drawn carriage on the road. Pennants flying from the mast.
