A Crowded Beach Scene

View north along the Seawall and Promenade towards the old Midland Hotel. The beach at high tide is crowded, many in best clothes. Baynes Ice Cream stall down on the sand. Many bathing huts with a horse and some donkeys. Winter Gardens sailing boat being loaded from wheeled jetty. Some paddlers and swimmers. Two sets of funnels in the harbour where Wards have big cranes used for dismantling warships
